Go Scoot!

First Step Cycle are pleased to announce our new ‘Go Scoot’ training programme for children aged 4-11 years old.

Scooting has become very popular with children, espescially scooting to school. Scooting promotes physical activity from an early age and develop skills which also helps with cycling such as steering, stopping and balancing. Thank’s to our new Go Scoot programme children will learn how to use footpaths safely, and spot the potential dangers. As well as being fun, it encourages children to exercise to and from school which helps toward their recommended hour of physical activity each day, enabling them to keep fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Specific course details

  • Open to 4-11 year old’s
  • Scooters, Helmets & equipment provided
  • Course delivered over x3 mornings x3 weeks
  • Course are run by 2 instructors to groups of up to 16 for each session
  • Each morning consists of 2x 1 hour sessions
