Boost Bikeability success with free Learn to Ride sessions

Are you a school in North Lincolnshire looking to help your Year 3 and 4 students excel in their upcoming Bikeability training? We’re excited to offer free Learn to Ride sessions, funded by North Lincolnshire Council, to prepare pupils for their Bikeability Levels 1 and 2.

Our Learn to Ride sessions provide vital balance and coordination skills that will set your students up for success when they move on to Bikeability in Years 5 and 6. With a focus on building confidence, our experienced instructors will guide students through key skills such as wobble-free cruising, slowing down, and braking correctly (using the brakes, not their feet).

Course Details:

  • Duration: 6-week programme
  • Session Length: 2 hours per week
  • Target Group: Year 3 & 4 students
  • Group Size: Up to 36 children (6 children per 1-hour session repeated over 6 weeks, giving each group 2 1-hour sessions to gain experience and learn to ride)

These sessions are a perfect way to help your students get ready for their Bikeability sessions and improve their chances of success. Schools are encouraged to book the Learn to Ride sessions before their scheduled Bikeability dates to maximise student preparedness and boost pass rates.
