We have been incredibly fortunate to see 11 schools (and counting!), join our Modeshift STARS initiative this year. Modeshift STARS gives schools the tools to build active, sustainable travel into their journeys to and from school. Our partnership with these schools has introduced them to new opportunities to re-invigorate active travel such as walking, scooting, and cycling to school.

Working with the Modeshift STARS travel toolkit, we’ve developed new sustainable travel and supporting initiatives for accreditation. We’ve combined some of our best practice methods, travel options and some new ways to add a little sparkle to the standard options.

For your schools’ ease, we have mapped a clear pathway for schools heading from GREEN to BRONZE accreditations, with discounted lessons in scooting, cycling and pedestrian safety with us.
